EASTER MONDAY SPECIAL.
CAFC v Sevenoaks Town FC.
SCEFL Premier Division, Monday, 2nd April 2018, kick-off: 3:00pm.
First in the league travel to second in the league in what is the top game in the Premier Division for Easter Monday.
A win for the Crows and who knows what might happen to the branches on the Oak tree, may be they'll start swaying in the increasing wind starting blow.
If the Oaks win, then the title is surely theirs with a 13 point lead and a goal difference far superior to their challengers. A draw would also suit the visitors more than the Crows but in the end it will come down to who is the bravest team on the day and who wants the win most.
Since we joined the SCEFL, the matches against the Oaks have always been competitive affairs from start to finish and our record against the visitors, especially at the Community Stadium, is pretty good.
Whilst the Crows gained a credible win away at Corinthian FC on Saturday, 2-0, the Oaks thumped visitors AFC Croydon Athletic 7-0 at Greatness Park, with Pogue helping himself to a hat-trick in the process.
There should be a good crowd in attendance and the clubhouse will be open prior to the game from noon, with the turnstiles opening up at 1:30pm, as will the Top Nosh Tea Bar and the Crow Arms inside the stadium.
Admission: £8 for adults, £4 for concessions, U16's £1 - FREE if accompanied by a paying adult. A 20-page full-colour programme costs £1.
We hope as many supporters as possible make the effort to attend and that we all see a good game of football that befits the top two teams in the division and that the match officials play their part in a thrilling game.
