The Crows have won every away SCEFL fixture against Cray Valley PM with Saturday's result.

Still more to come from the team.
After going out of the FA Cup to Leiston FC, you wondered what affect that may have on the team however, two away league wins against Beckenham Town and Cray Valley PM has confirmed that the team have left the FA Cup behind them.
Against Cray Valley the team started where they left off against Becks, on the front foot from the whistle and dominating possession. For those of you who've never been to the Badgers Sports Ground there's a marked slope from the top goal where the dressing room are and the clubhouse to the bottom goal where the houses are. The Crows elected to kick up the slope after winning the toss, a natural common sense decision and it definitely suited the team.
With a high tempo and passing well, the away side were going forward at will and when Matthews received a yellow card from referee Joe Kasper, as the pressure mounted, little did we realise what type of officiating we would see from him throughout the game.
Back to the football, the Crows took the lead in the 15th minute, Phipp heading in a cross from Treleaven after the latter's throw in was headed back to him by a Millers defender. The scorer then had a rasping drive from some 25 yards out only a couple of minutes later which went inches over.
Colghoun, the Cray's goalie, then became the second player to see yellow as he threw the ball away after clearing the ball out for a throw in, thus preventing Crows taking it quickly, perhaps one of the many bookings which were given in this game that was deserved.
Carrington was next to upset the ref, seeing yellow for a fairly innocuous tackle in the 29th minute however, the Crows extended their lead in the 37th minute, Turner with a towering header at the back post from a Muggeridge corner which gave neither defenders or the goalie a chance to save it, Crows in command and looking good value for the lead.
Phipp became the fourth yellow card of the game, personally I'm not sure what for, neither does the official probably but half time was reached with the Crows 2-0 up and the yellow card count standing at 2-2. The talk at half time between the Crow fans was about how well we had played and how on earth has there been four yellow cards in a match that was not difficult to handle and was not a physical encounter, perhaps it was because he was being observed, only he will know the answer.
The Millers had lost their previous six games before playing us so confidence must be at a low ebb however, after their half time team talk, everyone knew they would come out and have a right go at the Crows, especially as they were now kicking up the slope which oddly enough seemed to be the best way to kick for each team.
The Millers started the half well and the Crows had some defending to do, although the first bit of real consequence saw a yellow card for Bedford, the home captain, for a late tackle, 3-2 to Cray in the yellow card count in the 50th minute. It became 3-3 in the card stakes only 5 minutes later, Clarke seeing yellow but please don't ask what for as I never saw what the incident was.
The post saved the Crows in the 57th minute after a ferocious drive from the edge of the area by Hamici hit it and rebounded to safety. The Crows then broke immediately and Attwood found himself one on one with the 'keeper but put his effort wide, still 2-0 Crows.
However, Attwood made amends in the 62nd minute by making it 3-0 from a narrow angle after a neat one-two with his strike partner Treleaven. Barton then replaced Carrington in the 67th minute and he had an eventful initial few minutes, Nelson put the ball past Ellis in the 68th minute to make the score 3-1 to the away side and then Barton made the yellow card score 4-3 to the Crows in the 70th minute with a tackle that clearly saw him win the ball but the ref deemed he used unnecessary force is the best guess I can come up with.
As time was ticking away, Unwin replaced the injured Phipp and Crabb was inches over with an effort from the edge of the Millers area. In the 83rd and 85th minutes the yellow card count went from 3-4 to the Crows to 5-4 to the Millers as first Nelson then Adjei both received yellow cards, the latter for a push on Treleaven inside the area, thus conceding a penalty.
With the Crow's record of missing numerous penalties, we all waited with baited breath as to who would take the spot kick, up stepped skipper Muggeridge to bury the ball in the corner of the net for 4-1, game over we all said.
Pearson then replaced Treleaven as the referee indicated that a minimum of 3 minutes of added on time were to be played however, the ref hadn't finished brandishing the cards and seemed determined to even up the score therefore, in the 90+2 minute, Clarke saw yellow again and consequently a red card, 5-5 in yellows and 1 red in total, a mistimed challenge irritating the official. He must like his computer screen on a Saturday night is all I can think.
Tom Phipp was awarded the Crows Man of the Match but plenty of others ran him close in a solid Crows display.
