From talking to people who did attend the game, it appears it was a fairly even first half but the second half definitely belonged to the home side.
After going 1-0 down to a penalty the Crows did well to get back in the game when Kevin Everest equalised in the 36th minute however, the old saying that "you are at your most vulnerable after you have scored" proved to be true for the Crows when they went 2-1 down in the 39th minute, Clark scoring for the home side.
2-1 down at half time would have been okay but Eisa made it 3-1 right on the break and the team talks for both sides were altered accordingly, the home sides being more upbeat than perhaps it was going to be whilst the Crows management team had some confidence building to do.
Bennett and Eisa added two more goals in the second half and the home side ran out deserved winners in the end. Whether the result would have been any different had the Crows been able to select any of their three centre-forwards is a matter of pure conjecture and in reality, most people would have been surprised had the Crows got anything from the game in the first place.
There is a gulf between the two clubs when it comes to finance and in the end in sport, money talks, personally, I'm happy we are where we are as you never know when the money may disappear from view, which has happened at far too many clubs in the past, that's not to say it will in Greenwich Borough's case of course.
