Crowborough put their recent defensive woes behind them with an assured display in a comphresive win that could have been by a greater margin.

The Crows showed great energy and fight as they steamrollered an average St Francis side with the defence showing the composure that the home fans had expected as they restricted the visitors to a handful of opportunities that never really troubled Ben Head in the Boro' goal.

Harry Thompson put the Crows in front after 8 minutes which was soon doubled by Scott Treleavan and Kev Everest added a third on the stroke of half time to virtually end the game as a contest. Charlie Ottway came off the bench midway through the second half and quickly added a brace to wrap the game up but further chances came and went as the pace of Crowborough's play took their visitors apart.

A much improved performance from the whole Crowborough side that will help to reinstall the confidence that has been lacking in the opening games of the season and should now see them push on.
