We got our pre season off to a fine start on a miserable day against Seaford Town with a convincing 3-0 victory.
A lot of positives from the game with new signing Ollie Lee and trialist Naz Rouane both on the score sheet in their first games.
After an edgy start the Crows settled in well and frustrated a good Seaford side by not allowing them time to find their passing game and rightfully took the lead from a fantastic strike by Naz Rouane on the half hour mark after some good approach play.
A soft penalty for a foul on Sam Crisp given early in the second half allowed Ollie Lee to get on the scoresheet and the scoring was finished off with a lovely near post header by Tom Wood following a corner.
This was a well deserved victory and a good idea of the players current fitness and sharpness and with eight players to come back in to the fold to push for places, hopefully a sign of good things to come.
