Met with Chairman today.
The club has just released the following statement:
Crowborough Athletic are sorry to announce that Joint Manager, Simon Colbran, has resigned from his position with immediate effect.
Chairman, Tony Bowen, had a meeting with Simon, at his request, earlier today (Tuesday), and he confirmed to Tony in that meeting that he felt it was in the best interests of both parties if he stepped aside and relinquished his role at the club.
Sean Muggeridge will now become sole manager with first team responsibilities and will appoint his own assistant manager in due course as the club continue on their path in a new league.
The players were informed of Simon's decision before their Sussex County FA Senior Cup tie away at Culver Road against Lancing FC tonight.
The Crow's Chairman said, "I would like to take this opportunity of thanking Simon for his time with the club and wish him every success with whatever in football he decides to do next".
