Walder to take over the armband.
Following Carey's departure manager, Sean Muggeridge, has decided that Jack Walder will be the club and team captain for the 2017/18 season.
Although still relatively young, Jack has a wealth of experience of playing at a higher level and has always been a leader on the pitch, whether he has the armband or not.
Therefore, Muggeridge felt he was the obvious choice to replace the departed Carey as captain and believes he will be able to carry on the good work started last season whilst leading by example and motivating all the others around him.
Well done Jack and we look forward to seeing you leading the Crows out on to the pitch in 2017/18.
