A date has been agreed for our away fixture against Peacehaven & Telscombe FC in the RUR Cup. Information below.
The Sports Park awaits the Crows.
Our away tie against Peacehaven & Telscombe FC in the RUR Cup will now take place on Tuesday, 17th September 2019, with a kick off time of 7:30pm.
The home side are an old adversary of the Crows of course from our days in the old Sussex County Football League and when we joined the SCFL back in the 1970’s, they were one of the top teams and won leagues and cups on a regular basis back then.
They have had their up and downs during the years, as all clubs do as fortunes fluctuate between good and bad, but they’re doing alright at the moment in the SCFL Premier Division, sitting in third place with 10 points from their first five league games as I write.
So that makes them 5 points behind current leaders, Lancing FC, as they have won all their league games and 3 points behind second placed Eastbourne Town.
The Crows will have to play well if they’re to get through to the next round so if you can make the relatively short journey to Peacehaven to support the team then please do so, your support does make a difference and of course, the tie does have to be decided on the night.
Their ground details are: The Sports Park, Piddinghoe Avenue, Peacehaven, East Sussex BN10 8RH. There is ample parking right outside the ground.
