As you have probably read the FA in England have decided to suspend all Premiership and Championship matches until the start of April. Where does this leave the youth football & grass roots football where we play?
The answer is the FA have left this up to the local FA to decide: Sussex FA Statement. This means that they have deferred the decision to the leagues. As I write this (and the situation changes on a regular basis) the leagues that we play in have made the following decisions
- Crowborough & District (Youth) - games scheduled for this weekend to go ahead
- Kent Youth League (Youth) - If the kids are attending school then games to go ahead
- Sussex Sunday Youth League (Youth) - proceed with fixtures as normal
- Isthmian League (Youth and Senior) - fixtures postponed
- Suburban League (Senior) - continue with fixtures as normal
- SCEFL (Senior) - proceed with fixtures as normal

Please note the NHS Guidelines . Stay safe and ensure you follow the advice from the government and the NHS.
Where matches are being played there will be no handshakes before or after the game

As a club we are monitoring the situation and will provide updates when we have any further information.

Due to the weather there will be no youth games or training today, the pitches are not safe to play on.
