The Crows travel to the Star Meadow Sports Ground, Darland Avenue, Gillingham, Kent ME7 3AN today for their latest SCEFL Premier Division fixture. The hosts currently occupy sixteenth position in the table on six points from nine games, whilst the Crows are in twelfth place with ten points more, however, the Crows have played three more games than the Blair.
With that in mind the Crows will be thinking that they need to come away from this game with at least a point but as always, will be going all-out to get the three points. Everyone who has been to the Star Meadow Ground before will know that not only does it drop from one goal to the other, it also slopes on the diagonal from one corner flag to the other therefore, it's not the easiest surface to play on, especially for the visiting team.
The Blair will want to win for their own reasons of course but their regular top-scorer from previous seasons, James McDonald, doesn't appear on their list of registered players, which should make our defenders a bit more comfortable if that is the case. As for our management team they seem to be busy signing players every week and you never know there may be one or two new faces in the squad today, only time will tell.
