Always a tough game.
The home side had a comfortable 3-1 away win at Rochester United on Saturday in their first SCEFL fixture of the season whilst the Crows had to come from behind against Deal Town to win 2-1, scoring two very late goals to get the points.
Whilst the Crows are still in the FA Cup, AFC Croydon Athletic are not having lost at home to Sheppey United 3-2 the week before.
Their star striker, Warren Mufula, has departed for pastures new at a higher level however, they may have found an adequate replacement in Nahum Green who scored a hat-trick in the win against Rochester United.
As last season drew to a close we drew 1-1 at the Mayfield Stadium and of course, they turned us over at the Community Stadium earlier in the season, so we definitely owe the Rams a defeat tonight but our team will need to be at its best to get the 3 points on offer.
