At the moment.
This season the team is doing particularly well carrying on from where they left off last season and currently sit top of the 2017/18 Combined Counties Football League, Premier Division table.
They are, at the time of writing, ten points clear of second placed Bedfont Sports, Westfied have 49 points, although they have played 19 games to Bedfont’s 18. They do have a far superior goal difference though, 45 against 28, and that appears to be their strong suit, scoring goals.
They’ve played 9 games at home, winning 7, drawing 1 and losing 1, which happened last Saturday surprisingly enough when they went down 3-1 to visitors Redhill FC who currently sit in 15th place in the table. In those 9 games they’ve scored 32 goals and 11 against.
They’re equally prolific away from home too, scoring 35 and conceding 11 from 10 games and as you can probably guess, they’ve won 9 and lost 1 of those 10 games.

FA Vase.
In the last round of the FA Vase they were drawn at home to fellow SCEFL Premier Division side Canterbury City and beat them 1-0. As we know, Canterbury City are a tough defensive unit who are hard to break down and never concede that many goals so that score line was not really a surprise.
Hopefully, the result will be different and we run out winners but it seems we could be in for a Coleshill Town sort of game again as both sides are more suited to attacking rather than defending it seems.
Anyway, this afternoon promises to be a great game with a reminder that should the scores be level after 90 minutes, then extra-time will be played. Should the scores still be level, a replay will be
required away at Westfield this Tuesday night.
