Tough game as well as a tough journey.
On Wednesday the Crows travel to play Bridon Ropes FC in the SCEFL Challenge Cup 3rd Round and the match will be played at the Meridian Sports & Social Club which is where Bridon Ropes play their home games.
Whilst we currently sit top of the SCEFL Premier, our hosts occupy 6th place in the SCEFL Division 1. Both teams were in action on Saturday 7th January 2017 and whilst we were despatching Eastbourne Town in the FA Vase, our hosts played out a 2-2 draw at home to Lewisham Borough, the division's bottom club who have accumulated a total of 3 points from their 21 games played, all the points oddly enough have come from three away draws.
However, that does not mean we will be in for an easy game, our 29 game unbeaten run makes us a target for any team as they want to be the side that eventually ends that sequence. Their home form is pretty decent, winning 4, drawing 3 and losing 3 of their ten home league games. In the process they have scored 13 goals and conceded 13 goals, that would indicate that they set their stall out to defend in strength and play on the break.
We hope as many of you as possible will be able to make the trip, difficult as it may be, to support the team, especially after the super performance they put in on Saturday in the FA Vase.
