For once we had games on a Tuesday and Wednesday.

Newhaven go top.
Tuesday.
Crowborough Athletic beat their visitors, Little Common 3-2 at home with goals from Smith (2) and Jack Mayhew and therefore maintained their third place in the table, although they do have games in hand on the two teams above them.
The Little Common goals were scored in the second half by debutant Warmington and Ellis.

Eastbourne United Association v AFC Varndeanians ended up with the home side taking the points with a 4-1 victory. Early strikes by Ovenden, Ball and Barlow put the home side 3-0 up at the break. Warde scored early in the second half for the visitors before Thompson scored right at the end of the game to restore the three goal advantage.

Haywards Heath Town beat visitors Pagham 2-0 to maintain their play off hopes, both goals coming from Emmanuel Abudiore, who has been in rich goal scoring form since his return to the club.

Lingfield v Newhaven ended up with the visitors taking the points home with them and going back to the top of the table. The Dockers goals were scored by Edwards, Reed and Rogers (penalty). Dennis had put the home side 1-0 up at the break.

Loxwood shared the points with visitors Shoreham as they drew 1-1. Law scoring to put the home side 1-0 up at the break but a late equaliser by Shoreham substitute, Street, saw the home fans went home disappointed.

Midhurst & Easebourne lost for only the second time at home in the league this season when Hassocks beat them 3-0. Goals from veteran Harding, Wilkes and Stephenson earning the points and keeping them in fourth place in the table.

Saltdean United v Eastbourne Town went the way of the in-form visitors by a 3-0 score line. Goals from Davies, Greig and Walsh secured the win and they remain fifth in the table, equal on games and points as Hassocks, but behind on goal difference. They do occupy the last play off place and have come into form just at the right time.

The last game of the night saw Crawley Down Gatwick host Horsham YMCA and the home side took the points with a 4-2 win. Toure put the away side 1-0 up but Feeney-Hill made it 1-1 in the 12th minute. Dugdale then put the visitors in the lead again, only for Leslie to make it 2-2 in the 41st minute.
That was the score at the break but further goals in the second half for Crawley Down Gatwick by Leslie again and Kilkenny secured the points.

Wednesday.
Bexhill United v AFC Uckfield probably went the way most people thought it would with the home side winning the game 4-0, thus keeping their visitors at the bottom of the table. Archibald scored in the 33rd minute for the home side so it was 1-0 at the break.
In the second half, goals from Shonk, Samways and Playford, against his former club, secured the win and points for the home team.
