PITCH RENOVATIONS ARE UNDER WAY FOR 2019/20.

Our grounds man, Nick Collick, has started the vital pitch preparation work at the Community Stadium in readiness for the new season.
Green, green grass of home.
There’s no doubt that if you spend the money available wisely, get a professional to do the work and start the work early enough, you’ll reap the benefits from your labours throughout the coming season.
The Community Stadium pitch finished the 2018/19 season in the best shape it had ever been at the end of a campaign, despite the number of matches that were played on it by a number of our teams, not just the First Team.
That was down to the professional guidance and work of Nick Collick, son of former first team goalkeeper, Alex, and grandson of the late Bert Collick, who was so instrumental in getting the Community Stadium through planning and eventually built. Of course, Nick has played for the first team as well in goal.
His efforts were clearly visible last season and with the work now currently under way, the pitch will be even better for those who play on it regularly.
Have a look at the album which has been added under photos and which will be added to as the summer goes on. Well done Nick and everyone else involved.
