Erith & Belvedere up next in the cup.
Following on from our 3-2 away win on the artificial pitch against Greenways FC, our next opponents in the SCEFL Challenge Cup will be fellow Premier Division side, Erith & Belvedere.
The SCEFL Fixture Secretary has scheduled the match to be played at the Crowborough Community Stadium on Tuesday, 1st February 2022 and due to the chance that the match could go to extra-time and penalties, the kick-off will be at 7:30pm to comply with our floodlight restrictions.
That means the Deres will be visiting us twice in February, weather permitting that is, once in the cup and then on 19th February 2022 for the scheduled SCEFL Premier Division league fixture.
At the time of writing the Deres sit one place above us in the table, two points better off and having played three league games less, so a tough game will be expected by both sides when it comes round to the cup fixture.
All we can hope is that we all see a good game on 1st February 2022 and that the best team on the night wins through to the next round.
