Just too much snow has fallen and with temperatures not getting above freezing, we stand no chance of getting the game on.

Hopefully, on the road for the next two games.
We're sorry to inform everyone that our home game on Saturday against Croydon FC has fallen foul of the weather. There's around 7 inches of snow on the pitch, which is a lot of snow considering the area of a football pitch to move, plus the pitch is frozen underneath the snow anyway.
There's no way any mechanical machinery can get on to the pitch due to the amount of the snow and it would only damage the pitch for good if the club tried.
The forecast is for more snow in our area and temperatures to be at zero at best, more than likely lower until Saturday afternoon at the earliest and even if the snow was able to be cleared, it would just be waterlogged, so the club have decided to give everyone as much notice as possible that the game is off.
The SCEFL Protocol has been followed and everyone who needs to be informed has been via email. Once a new date is known we'll communicate to all via the club's social media outlets.
Therefore, our next scheduled couple of games are away at Sheppey United on Tuesday, 6th March at 7:45pm and Chatham Town on Saturday, 10th March with a 3:00pm kick off.
Hopefully, the weather will improve next week and we can get back to playing football on a regular basis as all these postponements are creating a fixture backlog and all things being equal, we were due to play 9 games in March, now we're down to 8 and can't afford anymore postponements.
