The management merry-go-round continues as Cray Valley (PM) get their man at the expense of SCEFL rivals Lordswood FC.

Manager resigns with immediate effect.
Lordswood FC manager James Collins has left the club with immediate effect to take up the vacant manager's job at Badger Sports Ground.
Collins, who took on the 1st team manager’s role at Lordswood FC permanently at the beginning of the 2015/16 season, had led the club to it’s highest ever league finish in 4th place.
A statement posted on their official website from the Lordswood Committee reads:
“We were notified this evening by James of his resignation with immediate effect. He has informed us that it was a role that he could not turn down as he believes it will be good for his personal progression.
“We would like to place on record our thanks to James for the effort and time he put in to Lordswood during his tenure at Martyn Grove, and whilst we were disappointed and shocked to hear of his resignation we wish him all the best with his future endeavours.”
The Lordswood Committee would now welcome applications for the vacant role of first team manager. Interested candidates should email their CV’s to lordswoodfc@live.co.uk in order to be considered for the role, with details of deadlines to follow.
